This a very diverse role, your time will be split between nurturing existing partnerships with our education providers, as well as forging new strategic partnerships with education & training providers and employers that drive StudentFinance’s growth. You will be the pioneer in researching and driving new markets.
We have a proven track record with tech & digital bootcamps which is a strong foundation to build on. Next up, we’ll be expanding to new types of education and training providers, as well as building strategic relationships with top employers to empower them to upskill their staff or expand their workforce by bringing on board some of the learners from our partners. The cherry on top is our geo expansion plan, all of which will give you a lot of opportunities to unleash your full potential and grow in our team.
As our Partnership Manager role, you will work directly with the senior leadership team and you’ll report to the CEO. As a strategic partner in the business, you’ll have a significant impact on the product, the go-to market strategy, and developing our sales processes and pipeline.
StudentFinance’s ambition is bold: we want to become the go-to career mobility platform connecting employers, education providers, and humans desiring to access quality upskilling or reskilling opportunities to drive their own growth. As our portfolio evolves, so will your role in the team. This role has multiple growth trajectories: Head of Partnerships, Global Partnership Manager or Go To Market Lead.
You’ll spearhead StudentFinances' growth on the UK market by:
Building and expanding our partner network with a broad range of training providers and employer partners, first in the UK and then globally
Driving the creation, identification, and development of market opportunities
Being directly responsible for the revenue growth from the partner network
Management of education partners and employers, leading the entire sales process from the identification of market opportunities to the signature of final contracts
Providing input to the product and leadership team on customer needs, business trends, and the competitive landscape
Managing and delivering tailored product training to internal teams and external customers (existing and potential) to include the preparation of training material and the delivery of training sessions and demonstrations
Monitoring relevant regulations, standardizations, subsidies, and other relevant particularities within the Territory
You have outstanding results in business development, relationship management or employer engagement role, preferably at an international level
You demonstrate vast knowledge and understanding of the training & education industry, know what makes HR leaders tick
You are driven by creating value for our partners and a proven track record of building long lasting relationships with partners
You have excellent negotiation skills, you are great at finding smart solutions to create win-win situations while keeping all stakeholders (including internal ones!) in mind
Don’t take no for an answer - digging deep, finding ways around closed doors, and sitting with the problem until it’s resolved comes naturally to you
You are an avid learner - the education market is heating up, you are keen to keep on top of our market and you’re passionate about creating awareness and opportunities for the entire team
Ideally worked in a business development role, in the education, training, or workforce development industry
Seeing through the occasional chaos and staying calm is your superpower
