About the role

We are currently looking for an entrepreneurial and results driven Sales Executive to drive the growth of the business of the business in the UK market, by onboarding education providers to our Income Share Agreements programe. This role requires a person that is both experienced in acquiring and managing partners/clients at a senior level, being the face of the company towards such partners, and has the capacity and ambition to help drive the growth of the company.


Role responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire sales process -  from initial contract to sales completed
  • Identify and prioritize accounts to drive conversions
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline 
  • Over time become a subject matter expert in presenting the value of outcome-based payment options to education providers
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders internally and externally to ensure we achieve commercial success with the partners and customers
  • Define the business objectives and use cases to ensure high business outcomes for our partner schools
  • Build a strong business relationships wtih the partners
  • Engage, build a relationship with current and potential education provider partners
  • Negotiate agreements with education institutions and manage the onboarding process
  • Provide training and support to partner education institutions
  • Ensure each education institutions correctly promotes the ISA to their students and drives candidates
  • Prepare proposals, analyse performance data and history of potential education partners
  • Work cross-functionally to handle and resolve complex and time-sensitive questions clients may face
  • Ensure StudentFinance is a thought leader in the market
  • Represent StudentFinance and ISAs in the broader education market and at industry events
  • Become an expert and advocate of ISAs and support the shift in the education industry towards this pay-per-success model
  • The role will initially be focused on the UK market, and then broaden to more geographies
  • Given the sensitive nature of the information handled, maintain strict confidentiality at all times

Job requirements

About you:

  • You have a proven track record within sales or business development. Worked in B2b Sales for 3+ years
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, and ideally Spanish or German
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • You take initiative and you take responsibility, meaning you are a self-starter that makes things happen
  • You are a results and solutions oriented
  • You communicate effectively in a clear, precise and structured way, you speak with authority and conviction and you present effectively
  • You collaborate well with others within your team and across teams
  • You are analytical, meaning you quickly understand and analyse complex issues and problems and you come up with sound and rational judgements and solutions.
  • You are structured and systematic and you plan ahead
  • Experience in startup environments and in the education sector
  • Flexibility to travel as/when needed
  • You are proactive and able to work independently
  • You are comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced and agile environment
  • You have a genuine interest in Fintech, Education, and in promoting Income Share Agreements as the new standard for education financing/ access
